I really love the Garnier skin care products and the 3-in-1 cleansing mask is a product that I use everyday and heavily rely on to keep my skin clear and spot-free, so when I saw they had released a new product I was really excited to try it. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is supposed to be a super efficient yet gentle way to cleanse whilst removing make-up. It also claims to ‘soothe the feel of skin and hydrate in just one step’ – sounds dreamy right?
It contains miscelles (this is all getting a bit too scientific for me) that act like magnets, and they essentially lift away make-up, dirt and impurities from your skin. The main thing I love about this product? You don’t have to rinse it off! It’s so great if you’re running low on time or feeling a little lazy as you can just give your face a quick wipe with this magic stuff and you’re done! So much easier that taking your make-up off and then having to cleanse separately with a face scrub, and wash it off etc.
After using this for a week or so, my face felt super refreshed and really cleansed. I have incredibly dry, sensitive skin and this was gentle enough not to aggravate my skin. It doesn’t have a perfume so it especially suits sensitive skin. I often find with some cleansers my face feels really tight after using them, like my face has been stripped if that makes sense? And with others, my skin is left feeling greasy but with this one my skin simply felt soft and clean.
It also removed my make-up so well, even my waterproof mascara. I currently use Nivea make-up remover which is great for taking off make-up but my skin always feels oily afterwards, so I have the hassle of cleansing. I’ve not tried any other brands that are more expensive, but this seems like an amazing product for a really great price.
