New Look Clothing & Jewellery Haul

010

I had that horrible Sunday night feeling last night and the only way to cure that is online shopping (or wine). All of the lovely Spring / Summer 15 collections are starting to come out in the shops and it’s so nice to see some colour. I cannot face anymore turtle neck jumpers or wooly hats – I am done with Winter! I have found that New Look can sometimes be a bit hit and miss but they have got some really gorgeous items in at the moment. My best friend lent me her statement necklace (pictured) and I liked it so much I had to buy one myself. The necklace has a pastel colour theme and is really pretty, I love the light pinks and pale grey.

008I also bought a lilac scallop top, I don’t think I actually have any purple clothes but I love the colour of this top, and the necklace matches it perfectly. These scallop tops are in all the shops, but New Look do a huge range of colours – from burnt orange to lime green! I’m going to stock up on some more colours for summer as they look lush with anything and are a wardrobe essential.

The next item I bought is a sheer pink almost peachy top, covered in delicate sequins with a beautiful sleeve detail. I bought the strappy top version of this last year and have worn it so much so I thought I will treat myself to this one too! You can tell it’s really good quality as it’s really heavy. I’m going to wear a nude colour top underneath it, but I think it is stunning. 018I love the sequin detail and the scallop hem – it’ll look stunning with white jeans for the day and black jeans for the night.

020The pink peachey colour is also flattering on any skin tone, even if you are essentially translucent like me! I have found in the past that a lot of tops that are this kind of style are actually cropped, and I am just not brave enough to bare my belly. Online shopping definitely cured my Sunday night blues and the delivery brightened up a very grey, dull Monday morning!
